Cell-level designations reconstructed from the published tables by text-coordinate parsing;
38 of 40 region columns reconcile exactly to the USFWS published per-region totals (two columns differ from the
printed total by one, consistent with minor internal inconsistencies in the source document). Alaska BCRs 1–2
are not drawn because the supplied shapefile projection corrupted those two polygons; their species lists are still
available via the chips below the map. Continental (CON) and island-scale (Puerto Rico & Virgin
Islands; Hawaii & Pacific Islands) BCC lists are taken from the USFWS BCC 2021 master list and shown
as separate chips, since those designations apply at a geographic scale broader than a single BCR.
